Business Intelligence Manager

Accountabilities and Key Roles:

  • Designing and implementing data pipelines to efficiently collect, store, and process large amounts of data from various sources
  • Cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure that it is accurate and ready for analysis
  • Analyzing data using statistical techniques and software tools, such as Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Identifying trends and patterns in the data, and using this information to make recommendations for business improvement
  • Building and maintaining dashboards to monitor key metrics and performance indicators, and automating reports to be delivered to stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders, using data visualization techniques and reports
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and product development
  • Continuously improving data analytics processes and techniques, and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Applying machine learning algorithms and techniques to make predictions and recommendations based on data patterns
  • Collaborating with data engineers to design and implement data architectures that are scalable, reliable, and secure
  • Mentoring and training other team members in data analysis techniques and tools



Job Requirements:


Education:

  • Degree from a recognized university in Computer Science, MIS, BIS, Engineering, Data Science or any related field


Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics, preferably with an International bank/ organization


Technical Competencies:

  • Experience in Statistical Analysis software, such as R or SAS
  • Proficiency in Data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Hands-on experiences in Programming languages for data analysis, such as Python
  • Knowledge in Relational databases, such as SQL or Oracle
  • Familiarity with Machine learning libraries and frameworks, such as scikit-learn or TensorFlow
  • NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB
  • Proficiency in Workflow data analytical tools such as Alteryx or Dataiku


Competencies:

  • Strong Analytical skills and proven ability to think out-of-the-box
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Fluent in English and preferably in Arabic
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics/ requirements
