Business Application Specialis
Responsibilities and Duties:
Continuously improve business operations and ensure compliance/alignment between the different requirements at different levels and from different stakeholders of the organization
Lead the contact to the ERP/HMIS vendor, integrators and responsible for coordinating all updates to the system, report and track technical issues, and oversee the subscription management of the system
Analyse the structure and flow of the business’ work, to identify possible application solutions or workflows, within the defined application scope and interconnectivity to other applications and be the subject matter expert for business and process analysis;
Provide users support and training for the ERP/HMIS, maintain a knowledge base for departments throughout the centre and create documentation as well as promote best practices in the utilization of the application;
Users administrator; manage security access and user set up for the ERP/HMIS, ensuring the protection of information from accidental or unauthorized damage, removal, and/or modification;
Perform top-level troubleshooting of technical issues related to application functionality. Track and follow issues through to resolution, including communications to all stakeholders
Providing development of service analytics, reporting and dashboard solutions..
Performing requirements analysis.
Documenting and communicating the results.
Performs and documents procedures for data preparation including data cleaning, standardization and analysis.
Performing user acceptance testing.
Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual data reports for distribution and prepare AD-hoc reports.
Setting, developing and follow up KPIs
Education & Professional Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience
Minimum 2 years work experience in ERP and/or Healthcare analysis management with the following predicative modelling, medical quality, performance assessment, outcomes metrics and/or benchmarking
Minimum 1 years work experience in computer programming
Knowledge of database, software, programming, spreadsheets and word processing and presentations
Provides the required technical support to end users, and responds to their enquiries and resolves their hardware/ software problems.
Maintains a high end user service level for all support queries, and adheres to the accredited policies and procedures.
Takes ownership of user problems and proactively deals with users’ issues, and performs technical diagnosis and fixes outstanding issues either remotely or on-site.
Follows up on all the received requests through the service desk system and conducts all the relevant documentation.
Maintains a log for the detected software/ hardware problems.
Supports end users in the usage of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
Transfers more complex service issues to the relevant IT team member for resolving them.
Arranges for seeking an external technical support in case problems could not be resolved in house.
Ensures that all SLAs (Service Level Agreements) either with KHCC departments or with outside vendors are met.
Provides monthly statistics regarding the helpdesk issues to the unit head.
Maintains user security on all systems.
Develops software programs as assigned by the senior staff and conducts the relevant documentation.
Performs any related task as requested by the direct supervisor.
Education and Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any related field.
One year experience in programming languages (preferably in Java or C++).
Application of Industry Knowledge/ Database Systems Knowledge such as SQL Server, Oracle and Local Area Networks.
Good command of oral and written English.
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
The Hospitality Service Manager is responsible for managing the Hospitality Services departments in the hospital, and leading and implementing strategies to enhance existing and new provided services. The jobholder will be also responsible for coordinating and supervising daily day functions and duties performed by the hospitality services section and units that include the following:
Food and beverage services
Operator and reception
Medical Samples Porters
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops work performance standards and schedules, assigns work and develops priorities. Monitors department activities and performs regular analysis of Hospitality Services and provide reports regarding tasks achievements.
Maintains the Hospitality Services staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Supervises and evaluates the performance of Hospitality Services. Provides technical expertise as needed or requested.
Establishes and revises the Hospitality Services policies and procedures, develops and maintains appropriate control and quality assurance procedures and ensures compliance with current safety requirements.
Participates in long-range planning and budgeting processes for projects, personnel and equipment needs as well as develops and monitors the Hospitality Services budget and approves the purchase of equipment and supplies and ensures the maintenance of the department’s supplies inventory
Provides training activities to the hospitality services staff, such HACCP training, customer service training, and working under pressure, with the objective of developing the staff competencies, and optimizing the quality of provided services.
Education & Professional Experience (essential minimum requirement):
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
8 years of experience in Hospitality Management and related disciplines preferably in a hospital setting, 2 years of them are in a supervisory capacity.
Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Senior Database Administrator
Responsibilities and Duties
Designs, installs, configures, monitors, maintains and supports database servers.
Designs and implements reliable, highly available architecture to include data switching and cabling for data center storage needs.
Develops database replication, tables, views, stored procedures, users, indexes, triggers and links when required.
Develops standards and guidelines to guide the use and acquisition of software and to protect vulnerable information.
Oversees the installation, configuration, & monitoring of the clusters and replication servers for uptime, utilization and stability.
Designs and reviews interfacing capabilities (database related) of existing systems.
Establishes, maintains and modifies database structures, standards and access methods as required by changes in hardware, software or accredited policies and procedures.
Assures database integrity, archiving, maintenance, recovery, security and availability.
