We are looking for a Safety Management System Software and Wildlife Management Officer to join the Airport International Group - Queen Alia International Airport team. Candidates must possess the following qualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or any other related field.
2.Ability to translate from Arabic to English and vice-versa.
3.Knowledge of computer applications related to the department scope of work (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, etc.).
4.CAT3 driver’s license for manual gear control.
5.Habilitation training is a plus.
6.Aeronautical SMS training is a plus.





JOB PURPOSE: To work under the supervision of the Head of SMS, BCP and Aerodrome Certification and with all company staff, relevant airport stakeholders and sub-contractors in order to manage the SMS and wildlife management data processes under the department’s scope
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Work per an administrative schedule most of the time and per shifts based on the work requirements defined by the Head of SMS, BCP and Aerodrome Certification, which may exceed normal working hours within applicable law margins.
TYPICAL WORK ACTIVITIES:
•Manage department data, including collecting and entering data into related software, performing data analyses and preparing reports as required by the direct manager.
•Follow up on Airside Operations Department and Wildlife Operational Team actions and plans to reduce associated risks.
•Provide recommendations to the direct manager on improving wildlife management processes.
•Provide recommendations to the direct manager on improving the way safety data is collected and communicated to all interested parties
•Participate in aviation safety communications with relevant company staff (safety training, awareness sessions, articles for internal newspapers, etc.).
•Support the department in coordinating emergency drills as per regulated types and frequencies.
•Support the department in managing documentation under the department scope, which may require manual work, in-house printing and updates circulation.
•Perform airside safety inspections.
•Participate in the improvement of relevant processes.
•Contribute to and comply with the airport and ISO 9001, 14001, 10002 and 45001 certifications.
•Attend department-related meetings and write minutes.
•Comply with ICAO standards and local regulatory safety requirements - including but not limited to - JCARC Part 139, Part 19 and AN14-1
•Support Airside Operations Department requests for certifying new PBB operators.

GENERAL TASKS:
•Solve problems within capabilities and report to upper management
•Enhance one’s skills and make proposals to improve one’s duties
