Term of Reference - Volunteer
Background and Context
Good Neighbors (https://www.goodneighbors.org/) is an international humanitarian and development NGO based in the Republic of Korea. To make the world a place without hunger, where people live together in harmony, GNI has been working with 200 communities in 48 countries, focusing on an inclusive community development approach and child protection since 1991.
Purpose
Good Neighbors International – Jordan Office is seeking volunteers to assist in creating visual content for the organization's campaigns, events, and social media.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the marketing or communications team to create visually compelling designs that align with the organization’s goals and brand identity.
Develop graphics for various digital and print materials, including social media content, website assets, posters, flyers, brochures, and other promotional materials.
Work closely with team members to understand design requirements, project objectives, and timelines.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of design templates for use by the organization.
Contribute innovative ideas and concepts for visual storytelling and brand representation. Qualifications
Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) or other relevant tools.
Strong creative and design skills with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present and explain design concepts.
A portfolio or examples of previous design work that showcase creativity, versatility, and understanding of design principles.
Sample safeguarding/PSEA clause
Good Neighbors (Jordan) has a zero tolerance to any harm or sexual exploitation and abuse against any beneficiaries (or program participants). Safeguarding and Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is everyone’s shared responsibility and all GN employees, volunteers, interns, and partners are required to adhere to GN’s Code of Conduct both during and outside working hours. Familiarization with and adherence to the GN Safeguarding Policy and Code of Conduct is an essential requirement of all, in addition to related mandatory training. All stakeholders must ensure that they understand and act in accordance with this clause.
