Accountabilities and Key Roles:

Oversee the identification and categorization of hardware, applications, data, networks, and other IT resources, ensuring comprehensive coverage, including centralized cloud-based assets.

Implement and oversee asset management processes and procedures in accordance with NIST CSF guidelines.

Ensure the maintaining of an up-to-date inventory of all digital and IT assets, implementing and enforcing asset tracking mechanisms to monitor the lifecycle of hardware and software assets.

Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and weaknesses and ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset inventories.

Develop and implement security controls to safeguard digital assets against cyber threats.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and classify assets based on their criticality and sensitivity and ensure effective implementation and adherence to security policies.

Ensure that the organization complies with relevant cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulations.

Stay informed about evolving cybersecurity requirements and adjust strategies accordingly.

Lead risk assessments to identify potential threats to critical assets and contribute to the development of risk mitigation strategies related to asset management.

Lead on collaboration with cybersecurity and IT teams to integrate asset management into overall cybersecurity strategies.

Establish and maintain a centralized asset management program, ensuring a robust Cybersecurity framework that is aligned with industry best practices.

Take ownership of the centralized asset inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, CRISK, CCIE, and PMP are a plus.

Experience:

8+ years of experience in IT asset management within a cybersecurity context.

Competencies:

Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework and other relevant industry standards.

Diverse knowledge in Cybersecurity frameworks, technology trends, industry best practices, reference architecture, benchmarks, regulations and standards.

In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and compliance.

Strong understanding of asset identification, classification, and tracking.

Budget planning and management.

IT and Management Strategy.

Strong leadership and communication skills.
