As a Projects Manager/Engineering & Real Estate at Bank of Jordan, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the bank's engineering and real estate projects, ensuring their successful execution, financial soundness, and adherence to quality standards.

As a Projects Manager/Engineering & Real Estate, you will be responsible for project planning, budgeting, procurement, construction management, and risk mitigation, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
Responsibilities
Oversee and manage engineering and real estate projects from initiation to completion
Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
Coordinate project teams and contractors, ensuring efficient resource allocation and smooth project execution
Monitor and control project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or risks that may impact the project's success
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as environmental, health, and safety standards
Manage project budgets, forecasting and analyzing project costs, and implementing cost-saving measures where possible
Coordinate with internal departments, external consultants, and government authorities to facilitate project approvals and permits
Prepare progress reports and present updates to senior management and stakeholders
Conduct post-project evaluations and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, preferably in engineering and real estate projects within the banking or financial services industry
Strong knowledge and experience in project management methodologies and tools
Experience in managing multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze and evaluate project risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and make informed decisions
Demonstrated understanding of construction codes, regulations, and best practices
Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Professional certifications such as PMP or CMA are highly desirable
