The purpose of the Investigation Unit is to support the effective, efficient, and accountable management of operations and uphold a culture of integrity by maintaining the highest standards of conduct by all personnel and contracted entities.
The Investigation Service is responsible for conducting investigations into potential misconduct in a timely and appropriate manner, ensuring that findings are professionally handled and confidentially submitted. Staff must demonstrate impartiality, objectivity, confidentiality, and professional integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support effectively.
Serve as a witness during interviews and maintain records.
Conduct searches on the internet and internal databases.
Analyze large volumes of unstructured data using specialized software.
Research legal materials to support investigative reports.
Assist in finalizing investigation reports and evidence.
Draft confidential and sensitive correspondence.
Organize and support investigation missions.
Support other investigatory tasks as needed.
Coordinate and help organize training sessions.
Generate reports on case loads for internal and external stakeholders.
Handle administrative duties and travel coordination for staff.
Perform other related tasks as required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education & Work Experience:
High School Diploma with 3 years of relevant experience
ORBachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience
Relevant Fields of Study:
Law
Law Enforcement
Public Administration
Or other relevant fields
Essential Experience:
Experience with database management and analytical/statistical reporting.
Ability to professionally liaise on sensitive matters with internal and external stakeholders.
Capable of working independently without supervision.
Desirable Experience:
Knowledge of UN systems and rules
Familiarity with audit or investigation functions
Understanding of refugee protection principles
Functional Skills:
Drafting and documentation
Database management
Financial auditing
Language Requirements:
Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
Knowledge of French is desirable.
Nature of the Position:
This position supports investigation activities and digital forensics. Responsibilities include:
Supporting the digital hub and providing data-related support globally.
Handling complaint assessments and investigations, particularly in Arabic.
Processing complaints weekly, mostly in Arabic.
Collaborating with stakeholders involved in evidence collection.
Due to the sensitive nature of investigation work, staff are expected to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism.
